Don't s after the meal

Many people think that they take healthy diet and this will make them fit and healthy. But we should keep in mind that what we do after having our meals is also important for better health. We can get the complete advantage of a healthy diet when the digestion process of our body is efficient and our body properly absorbs all the nutrients from the food we consume. So many people unknowingly do such works which can badly affect the digestion and health as well. Here I am going to tell you the acts we should avoid just after a meal and the gap of the time after which those acts can be performed.


[if !supportLists]· [endif]Don’t walk: Many people think that walking just after having a meal is good for health but this is not true. Actually walking just after the meal affects the blood circulation of the body. The digestive system fail to absorb the nutrients of the food and also increases the danger of developing acid reflection disorder. If you want to walk after your meal, then do it after half an hour that will be good for your health.

[if !supportLists]· [endif]Don’t bathe: Bathing after a meal will cool down your body and affects the blood flow. This will weaken the digestion and become the cause of acidity, gas and constipation. You can bathe after an hour of your food intake.

[if !supportLists]· [endif]Avoid tea: Tea leaves contain the high level of the acidic property. That’s why taking tea after meal affects the protein digestion and this substance make digestive task very difficult. This improper digestion can develop the indigestion problems in individuals. People shall not take take tea at least for 2 hours after the meal.

[if !supportLists]· [endif]Don’t smoke: Smoking a cigarette after the meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes. This will increase the chances of cancer and along with this become cause of breathing problems and heart disease as well. So people should avoid smoking at least for 2 hours after having a meal.

[if !supportLists]· [endif]Don’t loosen your belt: Never loosen your belt to provide rest to your stomach. The immediate loosening of the belt after a meal can follow by some ill effects and it can cause twisting and blocking of the intestine. You can open or loosen the belt after half an hour of the meal intake.

[if !supportLists]· [endif]Don’t eat fruits: Intake of the fruits after a meal will cause the stomach to be filled with air and weakens the digestion process. Hence, you can take fruits after 2 hours or before 1 hour to the meal.

[if !supportLists]· [endif]Don’t sleep: If we sleep immediately after having a meal then this will leave negative effect on the digestive system. This will cause gastric infection in the intestine. People should sleep at least after 3 hours of the food consumption time. If they can’t give that much time, then they should avoid eating any heavy food.
